It has been a long run. Though it only occured for a few days, but i felt as if it was like a whole year. I haven't been sleeping well these few days. Now that my dad has discharged from hospital, I feel a bit relief and decide to jot this down.

My father has been admitted to the hospital last wed night. He felt alright at first while he was lying on the bed and reading a book. He then felt a bit breathless, so he went downstairs and took his medicine. I remembered I was at the living room, heard him coughing once in a while, and spilting his phlems. Soon, I sensed something was wrong with him as the frequency of spliting the phlems turns high.

Urgh....I dun want to recall next...Basically, we rushed him to the hospital. I didn't follow them but just pray at home and picked up phone calls. According to my bro, my dad was already half unconscious in the journey. The journey takes about 10 min, (less than that as my bro drove v fast) He could hear the fluid "flowing" in my dad's lungs! My bro thought he was going to loose my father in the car.

My dad was immediately sent to the emergency room once they reached hospital. The emergency doctor help him to drain out the water in the lungs via tube, and liquid formed medication. It's a very painful prosedure! His blood pressure went up as he struggled to breath.
Soon, the cardialogist came. He thinks that my dad suffered a minor heart attack while struggling.

My dad was sent to the CCU once his condition was stabled. The next morning, my uncle went to see him early in the morning, and told us that has awaked and able to recog us. (my uncle onws and works at the cafeteria in the hospital, so he and his wife were there very early.)

The following day evening, the doctor said that he was doing well, and could be transfered to the general ward. All of us were glad that my dad was recovering. Yet I don't really have the appetite to have meals these few days. Till he discharged 2-3 days later, I began to eat more. I have been trying to gain weight since last year.

My father is doing fine at home now. Hope he will continue to be healthy forever. I am worry for him.
