Event : Movie again!
Met up with Yufung for movie...Hm..., it's one of the latest in the list today: 3 Kingdoms: Resurrection of the Dragon.
Wanted to watch on a weekdays, but Yufung is only free and available in the weekend. So, here I am again at West Mall...Yufung gave the conveniecne to me.....Thank you so much!
Basically, overall ok, good sound effect, music well chosen! But the historical facts are......inaccurate.
Inaccuracy 1 : Cao Ying - Never exists at all. Hm, I thought there was such person in the facts, till Yufung told me it's a fictional person. Then I started to rmb that I'd never seen a woman taking part in wars througout the whole novel. Yup, the novel is referring to The Romance of the 3 Kingdoms.
And....Maggie Q really looks out of place, fact is, she doesn't look Chinese at all in the movie. While I think the fictional character of Cao Ying is ok to fit in the movie, but I wonder why Maggie Q would land with this role. Should be someone else instead.
Inaccuracy 2: Wrong Costumes, especially the warrior's helmet. (i dunno that, till i found out from web's reviews). They said that the armors they wear in film only appeared during late Yuan and early Ming dynasty...It's another few centuries further from 3 Kingdoms...
Andy Lau, playing Zhao Zilong (Zhao Yun). We were discussing who would be more suitable to play the role before watching it as Yufung has doubts that Andy Lau can portrait the character well...but in the end, we agree that Andy has excellent acting skills. He's suitable for this role.
Yufung doesn't like the ending at all... so as me. Yes, we know he would sure died with 1 person fighting with hundreds of enemy. But in the movie it turned out ...faded...,
The fighting scenes...i must say, it's very vague. I only see soldiers dashing to each other, blood splashing out...That's all. The actions are not clear. Hm..., a little dissappointed though..... i give 3 stars out of 5.

Mood: Tired, Forlorn!!
Met up with Xinni at Sembawang for lunch at Galere. And we're exchanging learning foreign language. We met the week before for our 1st session.
Rushed to meet Bihui at Orchard for our free trial yoga class...I find it quite good, very professional as compared to CC ones, but I can't afford at this moment. Though the "coordinator" kept doing something to "help" us...we're getting frustrated as we could sense they were pressing us to join their membership, for whole 1.5 hr... had been talking abt it!!!BH got irritated and complained that she was late for her tuition. Hm...expected this kind of "dialogue session" alr. But...sigh...so what? Wait till I get my salary up to $5000 first, which I dunno when....T_T... will try the other yoga centre in future, which is, perhaps better than this company.
After we left, we proceeded to our tuition session. It was rainny day, and I reached my student's place 30 min earlier. >,.<
Taught her Science throughout the 2 hours. She's still confused with the food web and not clear what's prey and predator. ...Hopefully we can do some maths next lesson.

Event: The 3rd time baby Shawn visit the cinema.......
Mood: Cloudy
It's kind of difficult to bring a kid out for shopping or watching a movie which isn't a cartoon. This 4-year-old kid was not ready for this movie, i must say. Cause most of the time he was standing (luckily he's not tall enough to block the others who were sitting behind), eating his potato chips (otherwise i do not know what to keep you busy), and hiding his eyes when he saw some violent/scary scenes. NOT forgetting his soft, innocent voice:" I am scared."
So this is what happened last Tues, when I grabbed baby Shawn aft he finished school to meet up with Bihui at West Mall. We had McDonald for lunch and he only interested in eating French Fries. He was delighted to received a blue McD balloon and the toy car from the kid's meal. Bihui and I love to teased him which eventually annoyed him. Yes, he could get angry very easily. He got angry when Bihui ignore cam-whoring with him in the toilet.
Then, we proceeded to the theatre to watch Spiderwick Chronicles. >.<>
Ok, I am sorry that you were not able to watch yr "elephant show" (Horton) as I alr watched with some1 earlier, and none in your family wants to watch this with you, but it doesn't means u can disturb me in the theatre when it was airing...i eye balls didn't stick to the screen 100%, all bec of him!
Some of the creatures look very scary, as they looked ugly, which scared baby Shawn and turned towards me for comfort...^_^
He's good ogar....the Guardian Angel of the "haunted" house...
Honey....his favourite food Went to shop around West Mall aft the movie. Bought smth from Tom an Stefanie.... and then we took the train home. Hm..., I supposed it's 1st time baby Shawn took the MRT haha...he was so blurred yet excited aft he managed to tapped his standard card at the control station. >.<
